Lightning lands on the cleft

between Vebhāra & Paṇḍava,[1](https://www.dhammatalks.org/suttas/KN/Thag/thag1%5F41.html?ref=journal.ninthheaven.co)

but,

having gone to the cleft in the mountains,

he’s absorbed in jhāna[2](https://www.dhammatalks.org/suttas/KN/Thag/thag1%5F41.html?ref=journal.ninthheaven.co)—the son

of the one without compare,

the one who is Such.[3](https://www.dhammatalks.org/suttas/KN/Thag/thag1%5F41.html?ref=journal.ninthheaven.co)
